Honey is Amazing, Browse These and Have some Fun!

Remember if you are substituting honey for sugar use 3/4 cup honey for 1 cup sugar. Other wet ingredients you may cut back on, but give it a try! We have many customers that only use honey for canning, making bread, and in their tea and coffee. I sometimes feel like a 'dealer' selling products that I know people will be coming back for! But at the end of the day I know their life has been enriched and their health fortified with a true blessing of nature. This page will be up-dated regularly so if you come up with something, please let us know, providing it's not top secret!

Honey balsamic dressing
1 tbsps fruit flavored honey
2 tbsps balsamic vinegar
3 tbsps Olive oil
salt and pepper
cracked chillies

Melt honey on low heat in small pot turn off heat,  add all other ingred. and let cool. Pour over small tossed salad or pasta salad and enjoy. ( this recipe has been experimented with with our custumers and we have had feed back as to how much honey to use as well as vinegar and oil and lots of other ideas from exchanging the vinegar for mustard for chicken wings. There are no set rules. Have fun).

Cranberry Salmon

-Get the BBQ hot.
-Lay down a fillet of salmon on a pre-soaked cedar plank.
-Apply a generous amount of Cranberry Honey,(it's helps to warm up the honey before spreading!).
-Lightly drizzle soya sauce.
-Applly some ground black pepper.
Cover and cook the salmon until the red leaves and it is through and through pink. Mmmmmm, I gotta stop writing this.

Whiskey Sour

-1 jar Lemon flavoured honey.
-simply make your syrup 1 part Lemon honey 2 parts water.
-warm and dissolve in pot.
-once dissolved and stirred, refrigerate.
-get out a tumbler, and over rocks pour 1 part whiskey, 1 part lemon honey syrup.
-Serve with a lemon slice.

These are fantastic! You may wish to play around with the strength of your syrup, this is good honey and meant for good whiskey!
